Equilibrio dinámico y calidad del movimiento en corredores aficionados

El objetivo de este estudio es describir el equilibrio dinamico y control neuromuscular asociado a riesgo de lesion en corredores recreativos adultos de la comuna de Chillan. Metodologia: El estudio presenta un diseno no experimental, transeccional descriptivo. La muestra corresponde a 61 corredores aficionados entre 18 y 56 anos de edad, 39 hombres (63,9%) y 22 mujeres (36,1%) elegidos por criterios de inclusion y exclusion. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron los test Y Balance Test (YBT) y Lateral Step Down (LSD) Resultados. La comparacion entre grupos etarios, tanto de los resultados del YBT y LSD no reportaron diferencias significativas (p>0,05). Conclusion. Los corredores recreativos tienen una moderada calidad de movimiento y un equilibrio dinamico similar a la poblacion adulta sana, sin embargo, la asimetria presentada en el alcance (>4cm) es considerado un factor de riesgo para lesiones en extremidad inferior.
