Influencia de la inclusión social y educativa en la percepción motora en el caso de un niño con síndrome de Down

Abstract

Stimulation of perceptual motor factors involves the understanding of one's own body and its possibilities of movement, as well as the control of temporal and spatial notions; such knowledge is considered as the basis of intelligence and learning of higher complexity. This research shows the experience developed in a child with Down Syndrome in the process of carrying out these factors on the basis of an inclusive approach (from five to seven years of life). This study has a quantitative methodological approach with a quasi-experimental design and longitudinal exploratory panel, which major findings show an improvement in motor perception, despite of having had a heart surgery and suffering from acute myeloblastic leukemia.
