Validez y confiabilidad del test de desempeño motor en niños de 6 a 12 años de condición socio-económica media de la ciudad de Arequipa-Perú

Abstract

The objective of the present study was to determine the validity and reliability of the children's motor performance tests in 6 to 12 year old middle class kids belonging to the urban area of the city of Arequipa-Perú. 119 boys and 120 girls were evaluated in a stratified way. The children were given the Flexibility, Sitting Down, Reach-modified (cm), Abdominal, Speed (20 cm) and the aerobic power Navetta tests (shuttle run test 20m). The results show validity of the conceptual point of view and of content, and they present a level of reliability inter-observer (error gives measure) of (0,78 at 0,98), being the test of round trip race of (20m) the one that represents better reproducibility in both sexes (p<0,05) and the smallest correlation coefficient (smaller reproducibility) the test of speed of (20m) in girls (0,78), and the test of horizontal jump in children (0,82), therefore, all the tests produce good measure and error and reproducibility errors.
